Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to keep our transportation fleet safe, reliable, and road-ready in New York.

You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on diesel trucks, trailers, and related equipment. Working in a safety-first, team-based shop, you will troubleshoot engines, brakes, electrical, and hydraulic systems, complete scheduled services, and document all work to Ryder and DOT standards while accessing ongoing technical training and advancement

Qualifications

• Experience with diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related components.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting engines, brakes, electrical and hydraulic systems.
