Ryder System, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to keep our transportation fleet safe and road-ready.

This on-site role diagnoses, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on diesel trucks, trailers, and related equipment. You will troubleshoot engines, brakes, electrical, and hydraulic systems; complete scheduled services; and document all work in compliance with Ryder and DOT standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and drivetrains.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Familiarity with electrical and hydraulic systems is a plus.

Ryder System is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to keep our transportation fleet safe, reliable, and road-ready. In this on-site role, you will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on diesel trucks, trailers, and related equipment for a leading logistics provider. Responsibilities include troubleshooting engines, brakes, electrical, and hydraulic systems; completing scheduled services; and documenting all work in compliance with Ryder and DOT standards. You’ll work within a safety-first, team-based shop, use modern diagnostic tools, and gain access to continuous technical training and advancement opportunities across Ryder’s North American operations.
