Qualifications

• Active certification or licensure required.
• 5+ years industry experience within the last 10 years.
• Non‑Degree and Occupational Associate Degrees: 3+ years practical work instruction experience.
• Academic Associate or Bachelor's Degree: 4+ years practical work instruction and related degree at same level as course.
• Online faculty: master's degree in content area or related master's with 18 semester hours in content area.
• Exceptional cases: 8 years’ practical work experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Utilize classroom and lab instruction, assessment, and management to provide an engaged educational experience.
• Ensure students meet learning objectives for each course.
• Prepare instructional materials and equipment for student use and maintain them.
• Participate in faculty assessment and professional development; maintain certifications.
• Attend meetings, review assessment data, and meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting guidelines and internal policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
