Job summary

AAA Truck & Trailer Services is seeking a Trailer Technician and Diesel Mechanic to join our Bridgeton, MO shop. You’ll perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial trailers, and provide preventative maintenance with major shop tools supplied.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of trailer repair, diesel repair, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment repair experience.
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial trailers
• Complete preventative maintenance services
• Repair and maintain brake systems, air systems, lighting systems, landing gear, and trailer doors
• Perform chassis repairs and light truck repairs
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete major trailer body repairs, including panel replacement and rail repairs
• Perform welding repairs as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and shop standards
• Minimum 3 years of trailer repair, diesel repair, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment repair experience
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and repairs
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
