Job summary

C.R. England, Inc. in Colton, CA is seeking an experienced Tractor Technician for 3rd shift (10PM–6:30AM).

Pay is $34–$38.50 per hour, with a $5,000 experience bonus and a signing bonus for qualified hires. We offer a safe, clean shop, uniforms, boot and safety glass reimbursements, and strong career development through CR England University. You will troubleshoot and repair diesel tractors, read manuals, and use systems like TMT and TMW.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel tractor systems.
• Knowledge of EGR, emissions, brakes, and DC electrical systems.
• Read repair manuals and fill tags/repair orders accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must provide own roll-a-round storage and hand-tools.
• High school diploma or GED; trade/technical school preferred.
• Experience with Freightliners or Detroit engines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair tractor systems, including diesel engines and transmissions.
• Utilize computer systems (TMT, TMW) to create and track work orders and labor hours.
• Move equipment safely and follow proper safety protocols.
• Provide superior service to drivers and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
