  • Inspect equipment, perform adjustments and emergency repairs; lubricate moving parts.
  • Monitor controls, gauges, alarms, and system printouts; ensure fire protection readiness.
  • Direct supervision of crew on the watch and perform maintenance on machinery.
  • Instruct and train subordinates in procedures and observe work for accuracy.
