Amerit Fleet Solutions in Forest Park, GA is hiring a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy-duty fleet vehicles, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' hands-on experience in diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Own and maintain personal tools and toolbox.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations.
