Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a skilled Diesel & Automotive Technician/Mechanic in Evansville, IN. The role offers pay between $40.00 and $48.00 per hour with weekly pay and full benefits within 30 days.

Expect to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy fleet vehicles while documenting work orders and maintaining a tidy workspace. Qualified candidates bring 5+ years of diesel experience, strong diagnostics, a valid license, and the ability to manage personal tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role.
• Willingness to meet the physical demands and pass a DOT physical if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct inspections to ensure safety and compliance standards.
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders.
