Transport Refrigeration Services in Gordonsville, VA is seeking a Diesel Technician to service trucks, trailers and reefers. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnose fuel, electrical, drivetrain, and cooling problems, and work on ABS systems.

FHWA inspections, tire service, trailer body repair, interior/exterior trailer cleaning, APU service and road calls are part of the role; night differential and benefits apply.

Competenze

• 1+ year of shop experience doing DOT annual inspections or brakes, or tech school certification.

Mansioni

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, refrigeration, and APU units
• Troubleshoot and repair fuel, electrical, drivetrain, brake, suspension, and cooling systems
• Replace brakes and handle trailer ABS systems
• Complete FHWA inspections and tire services (mount, balance, repair)
• Repair trailer bodies, rear doors, and structural components
• Handle both interior/exterior trailer cleaning
• Perform APU service and general road service
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Operate forklifts, hoists, and company/customer vehicles
• Reefer unit experience is a plus
• Additional duties as assigned
