Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services in Louisiana is seeking a Diesel Technician to service trucks, trailers, refrigeration units and APUs. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure road-ready fleets. Experience with ABS, FHWA inspections, and trailer repairs is valued.

A clean CDL and toolbox are required. This on-site role offers competitive pay with shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with diesel vehicles and trailers.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Familiarity with brake systems, electrical and cooling systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on trailers, trucks, refrigeration, and APUs.
• Troubleshoot and repair fuel, electrical, drivetrain, brake, suspension, and cooling systems.
• Replace brakes and handle trailer ABS systems.
• Complete FHWA inspections and tire services (mount, balance, repair).
• Repair trailer bodies, rear doors, and structural components.
• Handle interior/exterior trailer cleaning.
• Perform APU service and general road service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate forklifts, hoists, and company/customer vehicles.
• Reefer unit experience is a plus.
• Additional duties as assigned.
