ST JOSEPH Peterbilt is seeking experienced to entry-level Diesel Mechanics / Technicians for our newly built dealership and rapidly growing Service Department. We are looking for individuals with 1 to 3 years minimum as a Diesel Mechanic / Tech, who are ready to go to work and be a part of our team!

Applicants need to be self-motivated, dependable, perform all tasks to the best of their ability, and work well with coworkers.

Qualifications

• Heavy lifting required.
• CDL preferred.
• 1 - 3 years minimum of Diesel Mechanic experience (preferred).
• Strong communication skills.
• Promotes and maintains a positive, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude within department.
• Must be able to demonstrate positive resourcefulness & versatility in a fast-paced, always changing, environment.
• Must be willing to listen and follow directions/advisement from leadership team.
• Understands the importance of safety in the work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM services and complete vehicle rebuilds.
• Involve in every aspect of a vehicle’s performance and safety to ensure road readiness.
• Utilize up-to-date computer software and OEM tooling for repairs.
• Train and advance employees into areas of interest as needed.
