Job summary

Empire Truck Sales, LLC in Slidell, LA is seeking an Experienced Diesel Service Technician for a nights, full-time shift. You will diagnose, repair, and service heavy trucks and equipment with your own tools, bringing strong problem-solving skills and a drive to learn.

The role favors candidates with Freightliner/Western Star/DTNA experience, a valid MVR, and a CDL when possible. This position is part of a growing team in a state-of-the-art facility offering long-term career opportunities.

Qualifications

• Prior experience and/or formal education in diesel truck, vehicle/automotive, or equipment repair is required.
• Experience with Freightliner, Detroit, or Cummins engine repair is a strong plus.
• DTNA training and certifications are highly valued.
• Must supply standard diesel technician tools.
• Basic proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and diagnostic software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.
• Class A CDL with a valid medical card is preferred but not required.
