Job summary

Schneider in Lima, OH is seeking a Diesel Technician for the second shift (2:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.), Monday–Friday, full-time. You will perform PMs, annual inspections, and repairs on tractors and trailers, and complete express services such as tire changes and brake adjustments.

You must have a technical degree in diesel technology or one year of diesel technician experience; familiarity with computer systems is required. Own tools within 30 days of hire are required.

• Technical degree in diesel technology or related field or 1 year diesel technician experience.
• Computer systems experience is required.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs, annual inspections and repairs on tractors and trailers.

• Communicate status updates to internal customers.
