Job summary

Schneider in Marysville, OH is seeking an Entry Level Diesel Technician for the second shift (Mon-Fri, 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.).

You will perform routine maintenance on trucks and trailers, handle component replacements, and troubleshoot issues to keep equipment in top condition. You will use maintenance software to create and track work orders, communicate status updates to internal customers, and assist with stocking, inventory, and repairs tracking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• Relevant industry experience preferred.
• Computer systems experience.
• Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance to include tire changes, minor electrical repairs and greasing.
• Use maintenance software to create and track work orders.
• Communicate status updates to internal customers.
• Assist with general shop duties, including stocking, managing inventory and tracking repairs.
