Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking Diesel Technicians to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and equipment at our Wisconsin locations. You will interact with customers and drivers, performing roadside services and preventative maintenance to keep journeys running smoothly.

This role requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in variable temperatures, and rotating day/night shifts with company-paid DOT medical card eligibility.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues such as wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, and suspensions.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters.
• Ability to work rotating day/night schedules.
• DOT medical card eligibility (paid by Love's).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix light mechanical faults to keep trucks moving.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles.
• Operate in varying temperatures and safe environments.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule including day and night shifts.
• Maintain DOT medical card as required.
