Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Frederick, MD is hiring Diesel Technicians to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and assist customers with roadside services.

You will work a rotating day/night schedule, lift 75+ pounds, and may need a Medical DOT card (funded by Love’s). Competitive pay and benefits after 30 days, including PTO and 401(k) matching, are provided.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters
• Ability to work in various temperatures
• Always put safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)
