Job summary

DeVivo Companies in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking a full-time Diesel Technician to join our team. You will perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose and repair medium and heavy-duty vehicles, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

We offer competitive pay in the $20.00–$54.00 per hour range, medical/dental/life insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid factory training, and opportunities for advancement in a modern shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in automotive, truck, or bus repair.
• Ability to own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions.
• Proficiency with computer operations.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Conduct diagnostic and repair work on a variety of vehicle types.
• Follow established technical and administrative processes.
• Complete repair orders and parts usage forms accurately.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers.
• Remain current on all technical and regulatory requirements.
• Perform road service calls as required.
