Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Performs minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers.
  • Conducts regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation and oil changes.
  • Collaborates with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs.
  • Maintains accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
  • Responsible for repairing, modifying and performing preventative maintenance on applicable fleet vehicles.
  • Ensures all fleet vehicles meet DOT compliance, including brake maintenance.
  • Completes daily reporting and maintains inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies.
  • Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
