Job summary

Managed Mobile in the United States is seeking an advanced Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The technician will work from a fully equipped mobile service vehicle and perform scheduled services and repairs, following best practices and company safety policies.

The role requires independent work, strong diagnostics skills, and a minimum of 3 years' experience as an advanced level mechanic/technician, with ASE Certification in Medium/Heavy

Qualifications

• Must have high level diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for light/medium/heavy trucks and trailers.
• Strong independent work ethic and responsibility.
• Punctual, reliable with a positive attitude.
• 3+ years as an advanced level mechanic/technician.
• ASE certification in Medium/Heavy Duty preferred; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair and maintenance for trucks, trailers, and equipment across major systems.
• Operate a fully equipped mobile service vehicle delivering service to customer locations in the Dallas/Ft Worth area.
• Respond to changing tasks throughout the day and manage overtime as needed.

Managed Mobile is looking for an advanced level Diesel Technician with a wide breadth of experience who can diagnose and repair light/medium/heavy duty trucks and trailers. The selected candidate will work independently from fully equipped service vehicle including a smart phone, iPad, computer diagnostic equipment, air compressor, air welder/generator, A/C recovery machine, lifting and supporting devices, safety equipment and all supplies and parts necessary to complete assigned work. The selected candidate will perform scheduled services and repairs with a well-thought out approach, adhering to industry best practices and all company safety policies and procedures.

Repair Technician Responsibilities/Duties:

• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair and maintenance for light, medium and heavy duty trucks, trailers and equipment including all major vehicle systems: engine, drivetrain, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, and computer diagnostics;
• Operate a fully equipped and functional mobile service vehicle, delivering service to customer locations throughout the Dallas/Ft Worth area.
• Respond throughout the day to different tasks as dictated by the changing demands and needs of the business;
• Able and flexible to work an average of 8-10 hours per week of overtime

Repair Technician Qualifications:

• Highly proficient in troubleshooting and computer diagnostics
• Strong independent work ethic and responsible character
• Punctual, reliable, and positive attitude
• Advanced aptitude and ability to perform diagnostics and repairs
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an ADVANCED level mechanic / technician
• ASE Certification(s) in Medium / Heavy Duty Category preferred
• Commercial driver license preferred

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• Clean driving record and responsible and reliable to handle / manage company’s assigned items, including but not limited to company credit card.
• High school or equivalent
