Job summary

Ryder in Hermon, Maine is hiring a permanent, full-time Experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician to support our truck fleet. The role offers a 2nd shift (3:00 pm–11:30 pm) with weekends off and competitive pay of $26.50 per hour, plus certifications bonuses and quarterly incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience with diesel engines and preventative maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Maintains documentation and communicates with drivers.
