Compensation and Schedule
  • Hourly Pay: $32.82 per hour
  • Certification Bonus of $100 for each New ASE Certification Obtained up to $700
  • Quarterly Bonus: Ryder Pays up to $500 Every Quarter
  • Sign On Bonus: $1750 at 30 days and $1750 at 90 days
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, Second Shift 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or Technical Certification preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • Experience in mechanical repair of automotive engines, including preventative maintenance and diagnostics
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with heavy and medium duty equipment repairs
  • Knowledge of computer systems
  • Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months, pass drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background check
Responsibilities
  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including diagnostics and component replacements
  • Interact with customers/drivers to identify issues
  • Use maintenance documentation and systems
  • Support safety and compliance guidelines
  • Mentor junior technicians
  • Complete OEM diagnostic courses as required
