Job summary

Empire Truck Sales, a leading Freightliner and Western Star dealer in the Southeast, seeks skilled service technicians/diesel mechanics for our Meridian shop.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy trucks and related equipment, using your own tools and factory training to ensure top performance. A Class A CDL is preferred but not required; benefits include training and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in diesel engine repair or a related mechanical field.
• Own set of tools suitable for a diesel tech role.
• Valid driver’s license; Class A CDL preferred, not required.
• Experience with Freightliner, Detroit, or Cummins is a plus.
• DTNA training is a major bonus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor to mid-level repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic software and document repairs clearly.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain clean work areas.
