Diesel Technician/Mechanic III - Entry Level

Job Overview

Ready to accelerate your career while helping our customers move forward? As a Technician at Penske, you'll perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our well-maintained fleet. You'll help keep vehicles in top condition and on the road.

Location: 29310 Clayton Ave, Wickliffe, OH 44092

Responsibilities
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers
  • Use Penske’s tools and technologies for repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance
  • Perform preventative maintenance like tire rotation, lubrication, electrical, and cooling system repairs
  • Collaborate with your manager to learn new skills through training and coaching
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude; 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Problem-solving skills and comfort with tools
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and outdoors
  • Basic computer skills

Physical & Safety Requirements
