Main Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers
• Use Penske’s tools and technologies for diagnostics and repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance, including tire services, lubrication, electrical repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engines
• Collaborate with your manager to learn new skills through training and coaching
• Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification preferred
• Basic mechanical skills; 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Problem-solving ability and comfort with tools
• Customer service and communication skills
• Teamwork and outdoor work capability
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to follow safety and operational guidelines, including DOT, OSHA policies
• Willingness to work the required schedule and pass background, drug, and physical screenings
