Main Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and safety checks on vehicles
• Use Penske’s tools and technologies for diagnostics and repairs
• Conduct preventative maintenance like tire rotation, lubrication, electrical, and cooling system repairs
• Collaborate with your manager to learn new skills through training and coaching
• Assist with other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred
• Basic mechanical skills; 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Problem-solving skills and comfort with tools
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and outdoors
• Basic computer skills
• Must adhere to safety regulations and DOT requirements, including drug screening and background checks

Physical Requirements

• Frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, and bending
• Use hands regularly for operating tools
• Work safely at heights and in all weather conditions
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally

Pay and Benefits
