Ready to accelerate your career while helping our customers move forward? As a Technician at Penske, you’ll perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they stay in top condition. You will help our customers keep their vehicles in shape and on the road.

Location: 100 N Harris St, Cleona, PA 17042

Whether you’re starting your career or have some vehicle repair experience, becoming a Penske Technician could be a great fit. No day is the same — you'll work on various equipment types, not just one manufacturer. We prioritize safety and reliability, and will train you on our maintenance processes and cutting-edge technology. We provide industry-certified training and all necessary tools.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers
  • Use Penske’s tools and technologies for diagnostics and repairs
  • Perform preventative maintenance like tire rotation, lubrication, electrical, and cooling system repairs on gas and diesel engines
  • Partner with your manager to learn new skills through training and coaching
  • Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification is a plus
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years automotive/diesel repair experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Problem-solving skills and comfort with tools
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and outdoors
  • Basic computer skills
  • Compliance with safety regulations (DOT, OSHA, Penske policies)
  • Regular attendance and ability to work according to schedule
  • Must meet DOT requirements for driving and drug testing, with CDL holders eligible for additional benefits

Physical Requirements: Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 100 lbs. Must work safely in all weather conditions and at heights.
