Main Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure the safety of vehicles for our customers
• Use Penske’s tools and technologies for diagnostics and repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance like tire rotations, lubrications, electrical repairs, and cooling system maintenance
• Partner with your manager to develop new skills through training and coaching
• Assist with other projects as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification is a plus
• Basic mechanical skills and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Problem-solving skills and comfort with tools
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and outdoors
• Basic computer skills
• Compliance with safety and regulatory policies, including DOT and OSHA standards
• Willingness to work the required schedule, pass background checks, drug screens, and physical exams

Physical Requirements

• Frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting
• Manual dexterity to operate tools and controls
• Ability to work safely at heights and in all weather conditions
• Ability to see and hear to navigate the work environment
• Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
