You will work on various types of equipment, learn from experienced supervisors and master technicians, and receive industry-certified training. Main Responsibilities

1. Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
2. Use Penske’s tools and technologies for diagnostics and repairs.
3. Perform preventative maintenance, including tire rotations, lubrication, electrical repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engines.
4. Partner with your manager to learn new skills through training and coaching.
5. Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair is a plus.
• Basic mechanical aptitude; 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work safely in all weather conditions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adhere to safety regulations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to complete required training, pass background checks, drug screens, and physical exams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
