Ready to accelerate your career while helping our customers move forward? As a Technician at Penske, you’ll perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet of vehicles, helping customers keep their vehicles in shape and on the road.

Whether you’re starting out or have some experience, becoming a Penske Technician could be a great fit. No two days are the same, and you’ll work on various types of equipment, not just one manufacturer. We prioritize safety and reliability, and will train you using industry-certified programs alongside experienced supervisors and master technicians. We also provide all necessary tools and maintain a clean work environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers
  • Use Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs, including diagnostics
  • Perform preventive maintenance such as tire rotations, lubrication, electrical and cooling system repairs on gas and diesel engines
  • Partner with your manager for skill development through training and coaching
  • Complete other tasks as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude; 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Problem-solving skills and comfort with tools
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and outdoors
  • Basic computer skills
  • Compliance with safety, DOT, OSHA policies, and company regulations
  • Willingness to work the required schedule, pass background checks, drug screening, and physical exams as per DOT regulations
Physical Requirements

Must be able to move, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally. Must work safely in all weather conditions and navigate the work environment safely.
