Job summary

Bobcat of Cerritos is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our team. You will diagnose and repair Bobcat equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support customers with a can-do attitude to exceed expectations.

We offer a 35.00/hour base pay plus an efficiency bonus, Monday–Friday 7am–4pm, and comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. Join us to grow with a leader in compact construction equipment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in heavy equipment service operations such as skid steers and excavators.
• Strong mechanical background with diagnostics, diesel, hydraulics, and electrical skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair major systems on Bobcat equipment.
• Perform system rebuilds/overhauls and welding as needed.
• Coordinate with Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental teams.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor.

Diesel Technician / Mechanic Diesel Technician/Mechanic - Join the leader in the compact construction equipment industry. Bobcat of is well respected in our area, and we are currently searching for a Diesel Technician to join our team. Our Diesel Technicians play a key role in our customer relations and service representation. We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for helping our customers with a can-do attitude exceeding our customer's expectations.

Diesel Technicians $35.00 Plus Efficiency Bonus Monday -Friday (7am-4pm)

Essential Functions:

• Conducting daily equipment and preventative maintenance inspections
• Diagnosing and repairing all major systems on compact equipment, with emphasis on the Bobcat line
• Performing system rebuilds and overhauls Welding Work effectively with all levels of the company -- Parts, Service, Sales, Rental
• Performing any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience in heavy and or equipment service operations– skid steers, excavators, etc....
• Strong mechanical background including excellent skills in diagnostics, diesel mechanics, hydraulics, electrical.

Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to various extreme conditions as this position works indoors and outdoors. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Requirements Be able to effectively communicate with customers This position is continually active, requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, laying, crawling, and climbing all day. Employee but frequently lift and/or move items over 50lbs Many movements required to perform this job require a degree of strain on muscles, joints, and tendons in both your arms, chest, shoulders and back. Specific vision requirements required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
