Job summary

Bobcat of Atlanta is seeking a Diesel Mechanic in Riverdale, GA to diagnose, repair, and maintain Bobcat equipment. You will perform diagnostics, service and repairs on customer or dealer-owned machines, while ensuring quality workmanship and timely delivery.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, hands-on tool knowledge, and 1 year of diesel shop experience (3–5 years preferred). Equal opportunity employer; wage is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year technical school preferred.
• 1 year fleet or dealership diesel shop experience required; 3–5 years preferred.
• Must have own hand tools to perform repairs.
• Heavy equipment or agricultural equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality repair services on construction equipment to meet customer needs in a responsive and timely manner.
• Performs basic diagnostics, service, repairs and maintenance on customer and/or dealer owned equipment.
• Identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel and electrical systems and executes solutions.
• Documents all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs.
• Participates in service training programs for the development of skills and knowledge.
• Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and/or management.

We are an authorized dealer of new and used Bobcat compact construction equipment including skid steers track loaders compact excavators telehandlers utility vehicles and more We provide service both in the field and in our facility Bobcat of Atlanta Riverdale is looking to add a Diesel Mechanic This role will be responsible for providing quality repair services on Bobcat equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive friendly educated and timely manner This includes performing basic diagnostics service repairs and maintenance work on customer andor dealer owned construction equipment The technician will also be responsible for identifying problems with mechanical hydraulic diesel and electrical systems and executing effective solutions Monday Friday dayshift 25 35hr depending on experience
