We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our team in Savannah GA..
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop.
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools.
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles.
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products.
- Maintain own tools.
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
(Entry):
- Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics.
- Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality.
(Intermediate):
- Completes complex internal engine repairs.
- Performs engine overhauls with limited direct supervision.
(Advanced):
- Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools.
- Larger more complicated engine rebuilds.
- Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation.
Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
This position will be part of the FTA pool. ORDER, FTA Drug Test
This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
