Qualifications

• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.
• Welding certification (CW) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs welding, fabrication, and other mechanical repairs as needed.
• Inspects, repairs, and maintains trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
• Keeps work area organized and maintains records of parts and maintenance.
• Works with other technicians and cross-trains to keep trucks/trailers in operation.
• Observes equipment to determine cause of trouble and reports major problems to supervisor.
