Ready to move your career forward? As a Technician at Penske, you’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on vehicles, helping customers keep their vehicles in shape and on the road.

As a Technician II, you are trusted to work independently on major and minor repairs, perform road tests, and complete maintenance tasks. You will also mentor new technicians and continue to grow your skills through training.

Location & Compensation

Location: 680 Ridge Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA

Rate: $35.45 - $43.77/hour

Main Responsibilities

1. Maintain and ensure vehicle safety for customers
2. Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers
3. Repair and troubleshoot components like engines, transmissions, etc.
4. Keep work area clean and safe
5. Use Penske’s tools and technologies for diagnostics and repairs
6. Learn new skills through training
7. Complete other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of vehicle maintenance experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification preferred
• Experience with diagnostics and troubleshooting major components
• ASE certifications and 608/609 preferred
• Proficient with tools and diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Problem-solving and communication skills
• Teamwork and safety compliance
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50lbs regularly

Additional Information

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and requires safety-sensitive compliance, including background checks and drug screening. Physical demands include frequent movement, working at heights, and working in all weather conditions.
