Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group, Inc. is seeking Diesel Mechanic Technicians I-III to keep Class 5-8 trucks and tank trailers on the road. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and repair brakes, suspensions, electrical and air systems in a team environment.

Weatherford, TX-based role offers extensive training, benefits, boot and tool allowances, and a clear advancement path. A valid driver’s license and compliance with background checks are required.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of diesel and heavy equipment preventive maintenance and repair.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must pass background check, MVR review, drug screen, and physical examination.
• Ability to obtain required industry certifications.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers.
• Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems.
• Complete truck and trailer inspections.
• Perform wheel-end, tire, and preventive maintenance services.
• Troubleshoot starting, charging, fuel, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain DOT compliance standards and inspection requirements.
• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Work safely in a team-oriented shop environment.
