Kenan Advantage Group, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician I in Mobile, AL to perform preventive maintenance and diagnose and repair systems on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers. The role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and accurate documentation.

You will work in a team-focused shop with modern equipment, receive extensive technician training, and have opportunities for advancement from entry-level maintenance to more advanced diagnostics and inspections.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of diesel, fleet, truck, trailer, or heavy equipment preventive maintenance and repair of Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailer inspection.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must pass a background check, MVR review, drug screen, and physical examination as a condition of employment due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.
• Ability to obtain required industry certifications.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers.
• Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems.
• Complete truck and trailer inspections.
• Perform wheel-end, tire, and preventive maintenance services.
• Troubleshoot starting, charging, fuel, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain DOT compliance standards and inspection requirements.
• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Work safely in a team-oriented shop environment.
