Kenan Advantage Group, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician I to service Class 5-8 trucks and tank trailers in Geismar, LA. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose systems, and support DOT compliance in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of diesel fleet maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must pass background check, MVR, drug screen, and physical per safety policy.
• Ability to obtain required industry certifications.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers.
• Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems.
• Complete truck and trailer inspections.
• Perform wheel-end, tire, and preventive maintenance services.
• Troubleshoot starting, charging, fuel, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain DOT compliance standards and inspection requirements.
• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Work safely in a team-oriented shop environment.
