Job summary

Dollar General Fleet is seeking Diesel Technicians to service trucks, trailers and yard tractors at the Zanesville, OH distribution center. Earn $22.00–$33.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and weekly pay. Must have at least 1 year of experience with Class A trucks and related systems.

Position requires DOT compliance knowledge, welding and fabrication skills, and ability to perform preventive maintenance. Company-provided tools and a robust benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working on Class A trucks.
• Experience with air brakes, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience required.
• Tire repair experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair truck and trailer components (doors, floors, side panels, electrical and air brake systems).
• Perform preventive maintenance on tractor and trailer equipment, including routine repairs and repair orders.
