Job summary

Kenly 95 is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our on-site Kenly 95 Petro service center. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain medium- and heavy-duty diesel trucks in a clean, temperature-controlled 6-bay shop with modern diagnostic equipment and a steady workload.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of professional diesel experience, strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems, and proficiency with electronic diagnostic scanners.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional diesel experience.
• Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems and electronic diagnostics.
• Professional-grade hand tools and a roll cart for diesel repair.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to diagnose issues and perform quality repairs with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., stand for long periods, and maneuver around heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on medium- and heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, oil changes, brake repairs, governor adjustments, and safety inspections.
• Diagnose and service diesel engines, fuel injection, SCR/DPF systems, transmissions, and air brake systems.
• Use JPRO diagnostics and other electronic tools to identify and repair problems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work bay.
• Document parts and labor using digital shop software and communicate with customers and management.
