Amerit Fleet Solutions in Troy, OH is hiring a Diesel Technician/Mechanic to service medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles. The role offers weekly pay between $25.00 and $35.00 per hour, full benefits within 30 days, and a Monday–Friday schedule with a 3am–11pm shift.

Qualified candidates bring 5+ years of diesel maintenance and repair experience, strong diagnostics, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ of hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations.
