Job summary

Advantage Truck Group (ATG) in Raynham, MA is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician for a full-time role with a rotating Saturday schedule. Competitive hourly pay rates ($21–$56 DOE) plus a monthly bonus program, overtime pay, and a full benefits package starting day one.

Qualifications

• Certificate from technical or trade school preferred
• Minimum 2–4 years Technician experience
• Dealership experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• CDL and DOT health card preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair or overhaul buses, trucks and heavy equipment
• Test drive and inspect vehicles
• Diagnose malfunctions; consult with customers on diagnosis
• Read and interpret diagnostic test results
• Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment using jacks or hoists
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, etc.
• Do routine maintenance, oil changes, battery check, lubricating equipment and parts
• Adjust and align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and attach system components
• Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, mechanical or electrical equipment
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure proper operation after repair

Duties And Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Physical demands are made on constant basis during the work day
• Requires ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, crouch
• Requires reaching with hands and arms, pull lift and twist
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders
• Position requires frequently moving equipment / parts weighing up to 50 pounds
• Candidates must pass a background check, MVR check, and pre-employment physical
