Job summary

Allegiance Trucks is seeking a Diesel Technician in Ronkonkoma, NY to perform diagnostics, electrical work and repairs on trucks and engines. You will read repair orders, install key components and ensure safety and quality in every job.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years’ diesel experience, a valid driver’s license, and a toolkit ready for field repairs. We offer training, a strong benefits package, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years work experience as a Medium/Heavy Diesel Technician.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have or be able to develop a detailed knowledge of commercial truck and engine repair.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service on vehicles and equipment including troubleshooting, electrical and diagnostic services.
• Read repair orders and perform general and detailed repair of trucks, engines and components.
• Maintain a neat, safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
