Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions in Oconomowoc, WI is hiring a Diesel Technician/Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on Class 7-8 trailers. The role offers $35.00-$45.00 per hour with weekly pay and a schedule Monday–Friday, 10:00am–6:30pm.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience performing class 7 - 8 trailer maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below).
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers
