Bergey's in New Castle DE is seeking a technician to repair and maintain diesel and gasoline engine industrial trucks according to dealership specifications. Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs, and keeping the work area clean.

The pay ranges from $18.00 to $40.00 per hour based on experience. Candidates must have a valid Driver's License and complete pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver's License.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Savings and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles when required.
• Keeps shop area neat and clean.
