Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles. You will assist customers and drivers, work rotating day/night shifts, and aim for high safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, uptime for drivers, and compliance with Love's safety policies; training and team collaboration are core parts of the culture.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Rotating day and night schedule as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
