Job summary

Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores is seeking Diesel Technicians to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance. You will interact with customers and drivers, ensuring safety and satisfaction while working in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires the ability to lift 75+ pounds, work in various temperatures, and rotate between day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues across wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Must be able to move and lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Willing to work a rotating schedule that includes day and night shifts.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues as described above.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Maintain safety and customer satisfaction, complying with company policies.
