Job summary

Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and assist roadside services for a broad customer base of drivers.

You will operate in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction, lifting heavy components up to 75+ pounds and working in varying temperatures. DOT medical card credentialing is provided by Love's.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters and work in varying temperatures
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
