Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components. You will interact with customers and drivers from across the country, contributing to safe and reliable travels.

You will perform preventative maintenance, operate in a fast-paced setting, and follow strict safety policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds.
• Comfort working in various temperatures.
• Flexibility to work day and night shifts on a rotating schedule.
• Must obtain a medical DOT card (paid by Love’s).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service to drivers and travelers.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean facilities.
