Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to join our team. You will troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

Expect a rotating schedule with day and night shifts, and the opportunity to interact with drivers from across the country. We value safety, reliability, and customer service in a team-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Able to follow procedures and safety guidelines.
• Good communication with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues (wheel-end, electrical, suspensions, A/C, engine components).
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put customer safety and satisfaction first, following safety policies.
• Work a rotating schedule that may include day and night shifts.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
