Job summary

Love‘s Travel Stops is hiring Diesel Technicians to join its on-site team, performing troubleshooting of light mechanical issues and routine maintenance. You will assist customers and drivers, with emphasis on safety, quality service, and efficient roadside support.

Role requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varied temperatures, and a rotating day/night schedule. Company benefits include tuition assistance, PTO, 401(k) match, and health insurance eligibility after 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put safety and customer satisfaction first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).
